RAY BROOK, NY – The Adirondack Park Agency is accepting public comment on projects currently under review. The public is encouraged to go online to learn more about each public comment opportunity and to submit comments electronically.
At present, the following projects are available for comment at https://apa.ny.gov/Hearings/index.cfm:
• Installation of a 90-foot-tall simulated pine telecommunications tower in the Town of Hope, Hamilton County
• Installation of a new midspan utility pole along an existing electricity distribution line in the Town of Harrietstown, Franklin County
• Construction of a two-family dwelling on a vacant 8.98-acre parcel in the Town of Hadley, Saratoga County
• Use of the aquatic herbicide ProcellaCOR EC in Sheep Meadow Bay in Lake George in the Town of Hague, Warren County
• Use of the aquatic herbicide ProcellaCOR EC in Blair’s Bay in Lake George in the Town of Hague, Warren County
• Installation of a new 149-foot-tall telecommunications tower concealed as a simulated pine tree in the Town of Chester, Warren County
• Establishment of a campground and tourist accommodation consisting of one tent site and three cabins in the Town of Moriah, Essex County
• Installation of a new emergency services communications tower and equipment building in the Town of Bolton, Warren County
• Construction of a new electrical utility substation and installation of new utility pole structures in Raquette Lake, Hamilton County
The mission of the Adirondack Park Agency is to protect the public and private resources of the Adirondack Park through the exercise of the powers and duties of the Agency as provided by law.
