RAY BROOK, NY – The Adirondack Park Agency is accepting public comment on projects currently under review. The public is encouraged to go to the Agency’s website found at www.apa.ny.gov and click the Public Comment and Hearing Opportunities link found in the News & Activities information box.
The link will direct the public to the Requests for Public Comment page where more information is located. In addition, the public will find an option to electronically submit a comment for the posted projects.
Presently, the Agency is accepting comments on the following proposed projects:
- Shoreline variance hearing involving the expansion of an existing non-conforming boathouse in the Town of Brighton, Franklin County
- Four-lot subdivision creating one lot containing all wetlands and river frontage and three non-wetland lots each developed with an existing single-family dwelling in the Town of Wilmington, Essex County
- Material change to an existing permit to expand a previously approved sand and gravel mine in the Town of St. Armand, Essex County
- Tourist accommodation consisting of three new cabins under 300 square feet in size, a pre-existing cabin and an Accessory use structure in the Town of Chester, Warren County
- Subdivision to create six single family dwelling building lots, one common lot and one lot containing existing residential development in the Town of Newcomb, Essex County
- Operational of a seasonal commercial use involving all-terrain vehicles in the Town of Hadley, Saratoga County
- Installation of new utility pole in the Town of Westport, Essex County
- Timber harvest of 86 acres within overstocked American Beech and northern hardwood stands in the Town of Minerva, Essex County
