RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, May 12th and Friday, May 13th, 2022. The meeting will be held at the Agency’s headquarters in Ray Brook, NY. The public is welcome to attend in person. Masks are not required but recommended.

On Thursday at 10:00 a.m., the Full Agency will convene for Executive Director Barbara Rice's monthly report, in person public comment, and other procedural actions.
At 10:30 a.m., the State Land Committee will consider if proposed amendments to the Whiteface Ski Center Unit Management Plan conform to the Adirondack Park State Land Master Plan.
The committee will be briefed by Adirondack Park Agency and Department of Environmental Conservation staff on the Adirondack Park State Land Master Plan’s Wild Forest basic guideline No. 4 – No Material Increase of Road Mileage on Wild Forest classified lands. Staff will also request that the Board authorize a 60-day public comment period to solicit public input to help inform the Board’s interpretation of the Master Plan.
At 1:30 p.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will convene to review and determine approvability for a proposed 5-megawatt solar generation facility. The project site is in the Town of Ticonderoga, Essex County.
On Friday, May 13th at 9:00 a.m., the Park Ecology Committee will come to order for a presentation from staff of the Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program. The Board will be briefed on key accomplishments and 2022 field season plans.
The committee will also hear an informational presentation from the Adirondack Watershed Institute detailing their aquatic invasive species spread prevention efforts.
At 10:00 a.m., the Full Agency will convene to take any necessary actions.
