December 2021 Board Meeting Agenda


RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, December 16th, 2021. The meeting will be held virtually. Please go to www.apa.ny.gov and use the link for Live Remote Access found in the News and Activities section.

On Thursday at 9:00 a.m., the Full Agency will convene for Executive Director Terry Martino's monthly report.

At 9:30 a.m., the Public Awareness and Communication Committee will convene for an informational presentation and discussion. Agency legal staff will brief the Board on project review and procedures regarding certain types of jurisdictional land use and development projects.

At 11:00 a.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will consider authorizing the replacement of a 73-unit hotel building with a new hotel. The new building will be 53 feet in height and contain 185 guest rooms. The project site is in the Town of North Elba, Essex County.

At 11:45 a.m., the Park Policy and Planning Committee will review amendments to the Official Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan map proposed by the Town of Warrensburg. The town has requested to reclassify two areas from Low Intensity Use and Rural Use to Hamlet. The Board will consider authorizing a public comment period on this proposed action.

At 12:45 p.m., the Full Agency will convene to take any necessary actions and hear member and Local Government Review Board comment.
