RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, April 15th and Friday, April 16th, 2021. In accordance with New York States ongoing efforts to ensure health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, the public should use the live Webcast event to watch the meeting. On Thursday at 1:00 p.m., the Full Agency will convene for Executive Director Terry Martino's monthly report.
At 1:15 p.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will consider approval for a proposed 5-megawatt solar generating facility in the Town of Ticonderoga, Essex County. The proposed project would be partially located within a previously authorized commerce park.
The committee will also consider approval for the re-development of the former W. Alton Jones Cell Science Center property into 355 residential units. The proposed development would be served by municipal sewer and water infrastructure and include a clubhouse, greenhouse, pool, recreation facilities, maintenance building, pedestrian and vehicle access and on-site parking. The project is in the Town of North Elba, Essex County.
At 3:15 p.m., the Park Policy and Planning Committee will consider a proposed map amendment to the Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map. The proposal involves private lands in the Town of Lake Luzerne, Warren County.
On Friday at 10:00 a.m., the State Land Committee will deliberate Adirondack Park State Land Master Plan conformance for a proposed amendment to the Hinckley Reservoir Campground Unit Management Plan.
At 11:15 a.m., the Full Agency will convene to take any necessary actions and hear member and Local Government Review Board comment.
