RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, March 11th and Friday, March 12th, 2021. In accordance with New York States ongoing efforts to ensure health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, the public should use the live Webcast event to watch the meeting. On Thursday at 12:00 p.m., the Full Agency will convene for Executive Director Terry Martino's monthly report.
At 12:15 p.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will consider approval for a proposed subdivision (P2018-123) in the Town of Northampton and Mayfield, Fulton County. New York Land and Lakes Development LLC has proposed to subdivide 1,169 acres of land to create 34 lots, of which 32 would be building lots.
Thirty new single-family dwellings would be built in the Rural Use land area and two new single-family dwellings are proposed for the Resource Management land use area. The project site includes Woodward Lake, a 100-acre impounded waterbody. The project sponsor also proposes to extinguish all 37 of the remaining principal building rights associated with the project site.
On Friday at 9:30 a.m., the State Land Committee will be briefed by Department of Environmental Conservation and Adirondack Park Agency staff on joint efforts ongoing related to Visitor Use Management and Wildlands Monitoring efforts.
At 10:45 a.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will re-convene for a follow-up discussion and then act on New York Land and Lakes Development, LLCs proposed subdivision project 2018-123.
At 11:30 a.m., the Full Agency will convene to take any necessary actions and hear member and Local Government Review Board comment.
