RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 and Friday February 12th. In accordance with New York States ongoing efforts to mitigate the Coronavirus, the public should use the live Webcast event to watch the meeting. Please go to www.apa.ny.gov for remote access information. On Thursday at 12:00 p.m., the Full Agency will convene for Executive Director Terry Martino's monthly report. Following the Executive Directors Report, the Full Agency will receive an overview presentation from Lake George Park Commission Executive Director Dave Wick. Mr. Wick will discuss proposed amendments to the Lake George Park Commissions Stormwater Regulations. Proposals include timber harvesting notification requirements and conservation/erosion control plans, fertilizer application prohibitions within 50 feet of all waterbodies and wetlands in the Lake George Park, and existing property stormwater retrofit requirements for all new development projects that require LGPC stormwater permits. At 1:00 p.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will consider approval for the construction of a four-story, sixty-unit residential housing structure. The proposed project is in the Town of North Elba, Essex County. The committee will also consider approval for a 120-foot telecommunication tower in the Town of Inlet, Hamilton County.
At 3:00 p.m., the State Land Committee will be briefed on the Hinckley Intensive Use Area Unit Management Plan amendments and consider authorizing a State Land Master Plan conformance public comment period.
At 4:00 p.m., the Full Agency will convene to take any necessary actions and hear member and Local Government Review Board comment.
On Friday Morning, February 12th at 9:30, the Enforcement Committee will convene for an enforcement proceeding for an alleged construction of a deck attached to a single-family dwelling within the shoreline setback of Lake Algonquin in the Town of Wells, Hamilton County.
