RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, October 8th and Friday October 9th, 2020. In accordance with New York State's ongoing efforts to mitigate the Coronavirus, the public should use the live Webcast event to watch the meeting. On Thursday at 1:00 p.m., the Full Agency will convene for Executive Director Terry Martino's monthly report.
At 1:30 p.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will consider approval for the rebuild of two segments of the existing Ticonderoga-Republic 115kV transmission line. The project site is in the Towns of Moriah, Crown Point, Ticonderoga in Essex County and the Towns of Putnam and Dresden in Washington County.
The committee will also consider authorizing a public comment period to solicit comments regarding a proposed amendment to an APA Wetland General Permit application. The committee meeting will conclude with an informational presentation from Agency legal staff on APA shoreline variance jurisdiction.
At 4:15 p.m., the Full Agency will convene to take any necessary actions and hear member and Local Government Review Board comment.
On Friday, October 9th the Agencys Enforcement Committee will convene at 10:15 a.m. to deliberate an enforcement matter involving an alleged shoreline setback violation.
