RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, September 10th and Friday September 11th, 2020.
In accordance with New York States ongoing efforts to mitigate the Coronavirus, the public should use the live Webcast event to watch the meeting. Please go to www.apa.ny.gov and click the September meeting agenda found under News and Activities for remote access connection information.
On Thursday at 1:00 p.m., the Full Agency will convene for Executive Director Terry Martino's monthly report.
At 1:15 p.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will consider approval for a 5 MWAC photo voltaic energy system. The solar generating facility would be in the Town of Ticonderoga, Essex County. The committee will also consider granting a shoreline variance and approving a wetlands permit for a proposed marina project on Lower Saranac Lake. LS Marina, LLC has proposed to rehabilitate the existing commercial Crescent Bay Marina. The project site is in the Town of Harrietstown, Franklin County.
On Friday, the Agency Board will reconvene at 9:30 a.m.
The State Land Committee will hear presentations from NYS Department of Environmental Conservation staff on proposed amendments to the Hinckley Intensive Use Unit Management Plan and the Fish Creek Intensive Use Unit Management Plan. The Board will not take any action on these proposed amendments at this time.
At 10:45 a.m., the Full Agency will convene to take any necessary actions and hear member and Local Government Review Board comment.
