May 2020 Board Meeting Agenda


RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, May 14th, 2020. In accordance with New York State's ongoing efforts to slow the spread of the Coronavirus, the public should use the live Webex event to watch the meeting. On Thursday at 1:00 p.m., the Full Agency will convene for Executive Director Terry Martino's monthly report.

At 1:15 p.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will consider approval for a request from the Town of Minerva, Essex County to treat Minerva Lake with a herbicide for the management of Eurasian watermilfoil. No more than 8.7 gallons of ProcellCOR EC would be applied over 41 acres of Minerva Lake between late-May and mid-June 2020.

At 2:00 p.m., the State Land Committee will come to order to determine if the proposed final Remsen-Lake Placid Travel Corridor Unit Management Plan conforms to the Adirondack Park State Land Master Plan.

At 2:45 p.m., the Full Agency will convene to take any necessary actions and hear member and Local Government Review Board comment.
