APA Holds Teleconference Public Hearing for Town of Lake Luzerne Map Amendment 2019-01


RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold a teleconference public hearing for a proposed map amendment request from the Town of Lake Luzerne, Warren County. The teleconference will take place on Monday, May 18, 2020.

The Town of Lake Luzerne has requested a map amendment to the Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map. Map Amendment 2019-01 is a request to reclassify approximately 105 acres of private land from Rural Use to Moderate Intensity Use. The proposed re-classification area is located approximately five miles northeast of the Hamlet of Lake Luzerne in the vicinity of Lake Vanare and Lake Forest. The proposed area includes approximately 1,300 feet of road frontage on New York State Route 9 and 2,300 feet of frontage on Hidden Valley Road.
