RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting at its headquarters in Ray Brook on Thursday April 12th, 2018 beginning at 9:15 a.m.

On Thursday at 9:15 a.m., the Full Agency will convene for Executive Director Terry Martino's monthly report.
At 9:45 a.m., the State Land Committee will come to order to determine Adirondack Park State Land Master Plan (APSLMP) conformance for proposed amendments to the Whiteface Mountain Intensive Use Ski Area Unit Management Plan (UMP). The committee will consider authorizing a public comment period to solicit public input regarding APSLMP conformance for proposed amendments to the Black River Wild Forest and the Lake George Beach and Battlefield UMP. The committee will also consider authorizing a joint public comment period with the Department of Environmental Conservation for input on proposed activities and APSLMP conformance for the Cranberry Lake Boat Launch UMP.
At 1:00 p.m., the Economic Affairs Committee will hear a presentation from Tom Williams on the Adirondack Watershed Institute's Business Community Outreach Program. Mr. Williams will detail the Institute's invasive species awareness educational outreach program to Adirondack Park businesses.
At 2:00 p.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will consider approval for the proposed Adirondack Treetop Adventure project. The adventure course project consists of platforms and obstacles suspended from mature trees and a 300-foot zip-line. A new gravel parking lot, restroom and open-sided picnic pavilion are also proposed for the site. This new tourist attraction would be located in the Town of Lake Luzerne in Warren County. The committee meeting will conclude with a presentation from Agency staff on shoreline stabilization guidance.
